Rosemont, 515 W. 15th St., 374-7456. Built in 1880, this Victorian gentleman’s estate is one of the oldest private homes in the Quapaw Quarter. Today, its modern conveniences include an extensive lending library and wireless Internet.

The Capital Hotel, 111 W. Markham St., 374-7474. This historic 19th-century hotel reopened in November 2007 after extensive renovations that added new guest rooms, a ballroom and a parking lot. The Capital offers intimate, full-service accommodations in both rooms and suites, and has two dining options: Ashley’s, an elegant, white-tablecloth restaurant; and the Capital Bar and Grill.
Comfort Inn and Suites, 707 Interstate 30, 888-472-6717. Part of the redevelopment boom surrounding the construction of the Clinton library, this hotel features a view of the library from the third-floor pool deck.
Courtyard by Marriott, 521 President Clinton Ave., 975-9800. The only hotel inside the River Market District occupies the lower half of the high-rise First Security building. It’s steps away from restaurants and nightlife, and just a couple of blocks from the Clinton library.
Doubletree Hotel, 424 W. Markham, 372-4371. Catch the River Rail trolley outside this hotel, conveniently located adjacent to Robinson Auditorium. It’s just three blocks west of the Statehouse Convention Center and the River Market district.
Embassy Suites, 11301 Financial Centre Parkway, 312-9000. This 251-room hotel in West Little Rock is convenient to interstates 630 and 430, and sits at the entry to Little Rock’s busiest shopping district. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby.
Hilton Little Rock Metro Center, 925 S. University Ave., 664-5020. This midtown hotel, just off I-630, is near UAMS, UALR, St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center and both the Park Plaza and Midtowne Little Rock shopping centers.
Holiday Inn Presidential Conference Center, 600 Interstate 30, 375-2100. This 150-room hotel close to the Clinton Presidential Center boasts a large collection of presidential memorabilia going back to the Reagan administration. Its conference and meeting rooms and the Camp David restaurant are convenient for business and convention travelers.

Peabody Little Rock, 3 Statehouse Plaza, 906-4000. There’s plenty to stay here for after the signature ducks retire for the evening at 5 p.m. Have dinner at Capriccio Italian Steakhouse or enjoy a drink at Mallard’s or the lobby bar. The hotel is adjacent to the Statehouse Convention Center.
Wyndham Riverfront Hotel, 2 Riverfront Place, North Little Rock, 371-9000. The Wyndham is convenient to Alltel Arena and a mere ball toss away from Dickey-Stephens Park. It’s just a short walk or trolley ride across the Main Street Bridge from downtown Little Rock.
