Last week, the state Education Department quietly posted school-by-school breakdowns of student scores on the PARCC test, used in 2014-15, that was aligned with the Common Core course standards.

The legislature pressured a change by the state Board of Education to a new test next year, so the PARCC scores have no equivalent comparisons. You can look school to school. And you can see at a glance that the scores tend toward the abysmal in terms of percentages achieving or exceeding proficiency in math and reading, at the middle school level.

The state had earlier released overall scores that indicated generally low performance — a third or fewer students achieving proficiency.

You can go to this page to find all state testing results. The link for “Pre-Appeals PARCC scores” will take you to a spreadsheet with school scores.
