The race has also been called for Kemp, who defeated current Associate Justice Courtney Goodson for the position of Chief Justice. UA law professor Howard Brill currently serves as Chief Justice, filling out the term of Jim Hannah, who resigned last year and passed away in January.

With 45 percent of precincts reporting, Kemp is up 58-42 and Womack is up 67-33.
