The deal we wrote about earlier is done. Dr. Albert Reece, dean of the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, will be leaving UAMS to head the med school at the University of Maryland. He’ll be going to Maryland in September. No official announcement yet, so we don’t know if UAMS is ready with an interim appointment. There will be a search for a permanent replacement.
