The Bush administration is P.C., it’s just a different brand of P. As in scrubbing the name “internment” from a national park in Idaho created under Bill Clinton on the site of one of the camps where Japanese-Americans were interned in WW II. Must not say “interned.” Bad word; suggests rights were violated. How about “provided forced alternative living quarters under government supervision after first stripping inhabitants of property and livelihood.” The history, including Arkansas internment centers, can be read here.
