Gennifer Flowers is moving her cabaret act from New Orleans’ French Quarter back to Las Vegas.
“I loved Las Vegas. It’s time to come home,” Flowers said by telephone Sunday from McCarran International Airport, after a house-hunting trip here.
Hurricane Katrina damaged her house and changed her life. She sold her Kelsto Club two weeks before the storm hit but was forced to relocate for two months.
“I’m just getting back on my feet,” said Flowers, who went public during the 1992 presidential campaign with claims that she had a 12-year affair with Bill Clinton.
Flowers lived in Las Vegas for three years in the late 1990s before leaving six years ago with her since-divorced husband, Finis Shellnut, former brother-in-law to Clinton family friend Webster Hubbell, the business partner in the Clintons’ Whitewater land deal.
