The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau just announced that the Aug. 19 Al Green concert at the River Market Amphitheater will be postponed until Oct. 27 “due to high summer heat.”

The concert was intended as the finale to a ten-week celebration of the River Market entertainment district’s tenth anniversary.

Tickets already purchased will be honored on the new date, which is timed to conicide with the first Razorback football game in Little Rock. Refunds also are available.
