Steve Ronnel in January will succeed Bob Lyford as the chairman of the Little Rock Political Animals Club.

Ronnel is the vice president of Metal Recycling Corporation and worked in Bill Clinton‘s White House. Lyford, the vice president and general counsel of Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corp., has served as chairman of the Political Animals for the last eight years.

The club was founded 22 years ago by Skip Rutherford, now dean of the Clinton School of Public Service.
