Bob Steel, he of the booming pipes, back to radio work. Wally Hall had this first, but we just got a note from the former KATV news director that said:

I have resigned my position at Stone Ward to accept a job as the new morning anchor for KARN Newsradio.  Neal Gladner and I will do the show together for awhile and then he’s moving into sales full-time.  I’ve very excited to be returning to my first love, radio.

Steel says he’ll also start a PR practice on the side to follow his morning show, which begins Jan. 8.
