I’m struck that this is the first election that a Clinton was supposed to win but they’ve lost since 1980.   And, Hillary Clinton’s concession speech, given standing in front of Bill and Chelsea Clinton, Madeleine Albright, Wesley Clark, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, and Governor and Mrs. Tom Vilsack, was solid and forward looking, but lacked that great line that would be repeated again and again on television in the days between now and New Hampshire.  The Clinton folks are trying to spin this as essentially a three way tie, but there’s no overstating how impressive the win was for Obama, in particular how it was driven by turnout from thousands of folks who’d never participated before.
