Gov. Mike Beebe did swell on Michael Feldman’s “Whad’ya Know” radio program, broadcasting this morning from Robinson Center Music Hall. He was folksy, friendly and smooth. (I thought it a little strange that he decided not to voice his previously expressed Red Wolves preference for the new ASU mascot, sticking with a repeated preference for Indian, though he acknowledged the old name for his alma mater must go by NCAA decree.)

Much of Feldman’s opening monologue was at presidential candidate Mike Huckabee’s expense and not always gentle. Chelsea Clinton never got a scout badge for dog hanging, Feldman joked, to a mixture of groans and laughs. The Mansion fountain no longer has Janet’s washing in it. Many trailer references. Bill Clinton was invoked in linkages with cigars, Gennifer, etc.
