For those of you who just can’t get enough severance tax news, Governor Beebe spoke briefly this morning about the possibility of a special legislative session. Bottom line: it’s still up in the air. Some legislators are for it, some are against it, some are leaning toward it, some are leaning away from it, and some offer a flat ‘maybe.’  Stay tuned, basically.

At the press conference announcing the tax agreement on Tuesday, Beebe said he was aiming for a session during the last week of March. Today, he said the last week of March is the deadline for deciding whether there will be a session. So read those tea leaves as you will.
