No Democrat need worry that working-class whites in the industrial Midwest and the South won’t vote for an African-American president. The Washington Post this morning reports the ugly reality.

UPDATE FROM MAX: For all this, it might be worth a mention that today’s Washington Post poll showed somewhat more voters would be uncomfortable with a woman president than with a black president.
