Interesting story on KARN Radio this morning. A Delta 767 made an unscheduled stop in Little Rock National Airport last night when flying between Atlanta and Memphis Phoenix. A passenger in need of oxygen had exhausted the plane’s supply, according to the report. Further problem: The LR National Airport Delta Airlines (the airlines, not the airport, supply their towing equipment) didn’t have a piece of equipment sufficient to push that big a plane back from the gate when it tried to continue its journey. It was grounded overnight and a larger tractor was expected from Memphis this morning. An airport spokesman said the plane was scheduled to depart at 9 a.m., without the passenger who was hospitalized at UAMS. She said Little Rock apparently was the closest airport when the emergency developed.
