You may have heard by now that a new suspect has been arrested in the murder of Nona Dirksmeyer, the former Miss Arkansas contestant and Arkansas Tech student who was found bludgeoned to death in her Russellville apartment in 2005. Cops say they’ve linked DNA on a condom wrapper found at the scene to her neighbor, Gary Dunn.

Dirksmeyer’s boyfriend, Kevin Jones, was acquitted of the crime last year. Earlier this year, the news magazine show Dateline NBC did a pretty solid round up of the case and Jones’ trial. Might be a good time to revisit that in preparation for round two.  On the jump: the hour long Dateline episode, from youtube.com.
