I’m surprised it took Republican Phil Wyrick, a candidate for county judge, a full day to get this news release out. He’d look a little braver and a little less opportunistic if he’d declared HE’d veto a bonus for ALL county employees, rather than just calling on Judge Buddy Villlines not to accept his 3 percent bonus. But that might not be politically prudent.
