Reports are multiplying that Gannett may “save” Detroit’s daily newspapers by going to a plan that ends seven-day home delivery of a print edition. Wow.

Gazette reporter has been leading the pack on Gannett news and because his item includes a reference to a former Gazette hand, Susie Miles Ellwood, who’s in the thick of the Detroit upheaval. She’ll be remembered by old heads.
