Jason Pederson at KATV sends along a note pertinent to yesterday’s post about a Smithsonian.com story about possible fakery by a purported diamond finder at the Crater of Diamonds State Park.

Pederson did a piece on the controversy for Channel 7 last year. He notes that www.fakeminerals.com did most of the initial digging. Pederson’s not seeking credit so much as pressing for action. He thinks some additional attention might get the Pike County prosecutor off dead center to make a decision on whether charges are warranted in the case. So what about it, Mr. Prosecutor?
