Dr. Randeep Mann, 50, of London, who was arrested March 4, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for possession of 98 unregistered grenade found within about 300 yards of his home. The grenades could be fired from a grenade launcher, one of which Mann legally owns. Investigators found two grenade launchers in Mann’s house during a search, both capable of firing the unregistered grenades, U.S. Attorney Jane Duke said in a news release.

The search also turned up 110 semi- and fully automatic firearms. Most were registered to Mann, Duke said, but registry on some remains undetermined and under investigation. Mann has been ordered held without bond. Here’s a Memphis backgrounder on the doctor, who once practiced in Tennesse.
