In case you missed it, I’d like to highlight Doigotta’s recent open line comment on a change in newspapering at the venerable Pine Bluff Commercial:

Ahhh. A chance to spout off. The Pine Bluff Commercial will no longer home deliver a Monday paper. Too expensive. They will, however, place a Monday “product” in news racks and so forth for you to buy. All well and good, right? Well, except for us fools who paid for a year’s subscription in advance. Six days of papers for the seven day price unless we scream, throw a fit and cancel. Which ain’t a bad idea considering the caliber of “product” they’ve been delivering lately.

If the news is on the paper’s website, I can’t find it.
