Early voting continued today in the special election for the mayor of Jacksonville.  Election Commissioner Kent Walker says over 500 people have voted over the past three days.  Early voting will continue tomorrow until 5:00 at Jacksonville City Hall.  Voters can also go to the Pulaski County Regional Building (early voting will be held here on Monday from 8-5 as well).  On Tuesday, May 12, voters can head to their designated precinct to vote.  Go to votepulaski.net for more info.  The election is being held to replace Tommy Swaim who has served as mayor for the past 23 years.  There are five candidates in the race, which will likely end in a run-off.
