Even Republicans are having a hard time obeying the commandment not to speak ill of other Republicans. Bless Bill Vickery, whose livelihood depends on sucking up to Republicans. He all but called her bat**** crazy on his radio show this morning. Likewise for some analysts on Fox News, who took sharp exception to announcers’ continued effort to drum up a sympathy vote for the “elite”-hounded Caribou Barbie.

Mike Huckabee kept it kind. But even he had to say Sarah Palin’s announcement of abrupt resignation “doesn’t make sense in a conventional political setting.” Nutso, in other words.
