The UALR Board of Visitors put the finishing touches today a proposed building program to be supported by a $31.6 million bond issue. It would be supported by student fees and pay for construction of a nanotechnology center; converting an existing building for nursing and health programs; an expanded student center to put all student services in one building;, and an ntramural and community sports center (a hoped-for track at long last, I hope). The Board previously had approved a proposal for more dorm space for honors students.

The proposals will go to the UA Board for approval.
