We at the Times sometimes forget that not all of our blog readers have a chance to pick up the print edition.  Or maybe they simply choose not to, but it’s usually a good read and this week is no exception.

This week we have a special column by Mara Leveritt that asks the question: Is the Arkansas Supreme Court in violation of the state’s Freedom of Information Act?  The answer appears to be yes.  Leveritt sought recently filed documents regarding the West Memphis Three case and was denied because the “records are sealed,” as one court clerk said.  The same clerk could not cite any legal authority to do so.

There’s also a very thoughtful Observer column about hiking Pinnacle, drag racing down Kavanaugh and brotherly love.  A good cover story on Mike Ross’s efforts to, er, reform the health care system.  Solid columns from Max, Ernest Dumas and John Brummett.  And the always up-to-date To-Do List from Lindsey Millar and Paul Peterson.  Enjoy.

UPDATE: Add Bro. Lancaster to this list! He held his own town hall and he feels your pain.
