I’ve commented before about the many sharp and newsy blogs covering Fayetteville and points north in the golden Northwest.

One is the Fayettevillage Voice, writing here about a four-way race that has developed for circuit judge and the difficulty in learning anything useful about a judicial candidate’s political outlook because of limits on what they can talk about. But, here, FV may be onto a clear line of demarcation between candidates, their choice of venues for campaign events:

Steve Zega is kicking off his campaign with a launch party at George’s on Dickson Street, 5:30-7:30 on Monday, November 30. Charles M. Duell is opening his campaign the following night, 5:30-9:00, with an “evening of hors d’oeuvres and beverages at the Springdale Country Club.” Those are major campaign decisions that say a lot about character and basic political values.

Now if somebody else chooses Maxine’s Tap Room ….
