Stephens Media’s account of Stanley Reed’s entry into the U.S. Senate race as a newly minted Republican doesn’t include mention of his campaign manager, David Sanders, (former?) columnist for Stephens Media who wrote warmly of Reed’s chances in a column yesterday.

UPDATE: I’m informed that earlier versions of the Reed story prepared by the Stephens bureau in Little Rock included references to Sanders’ new job, but they were inadvertently omitted in a version updated to include quotes from Reed. Just an oversight. The version distributed to Stephens newspapers included Sanders.
