Federal Judge Jim Moody today refused to issue a temporary restraining order to prevent a former Alltel exec, Lewis Langston, from going to work for the new Allied Wireless operation in Little Rock. Verizon, which took over Alltel, argued that he’d take trade secrets with him. Thanks to Fox 16 for posting the order here. Moody said there was little evidence Verizon wuld prevail on the merits of its trade secrets claim.
UPDATE: Roby Brock at Talk Business has some reaction from Langston and Allied. They apparently seee this action as part of a larger effort to hamper hiring at the new wireless concern.
