I mentioned the interest in following judicial candidate campaign contributions earlier. Here’s another one to watch. Appeals Court Judge Courtney Henry has already raised more than $317,000 for her race for state Supreme Court. As is customary, many lawyers appear on the list.

But this stood out from her first major campaign filing of more than $200,000. Nursing home contributions made up at least $70,000 of the total. This and subsequent reports also reflected support from insurance, medical and physician sources.

Her opponent, Circuit Judge John Fogleman, has raised a little more than $200,000 so far. In his first big round of fund-raising, lawyers predominated.
