The item here yesterday about Supreme Court candidate Courtney Henry’s bundle of nursing home/insurance lobby/medical contributions spurred quite a bit of feedback, so let’s throw this in the hopper, too.

It’s a letter from some prominent lawyers in Northwest Arkansas (Henry’s home turf), endorsing her opponent Judge John Fogleman.

I’d been inquiring about this. Fogleman is a contemporary in law school of some and began his search for endorsements early. But the message in the letter is clear: Fogleman is far more experienced. Henry has never presided over a trial, they note, and began seeking to jump from Court of Appeals to Supreme Court with less than a year on that bench.

Here’s a copy of the letter from Woody Bassett, Jack Butt, W. H. Taylor, Greg Clark,  David Matthews, Walter Cox, Don Elliott and Bobby Odom.
