The Women’s Legislative Caucus gathered yesterday at the Capitol to honor current and former women legislators. Here’s a photo from the Senate’s Twitter feed. There are currently 31 women serving in the Arkansas General Assembly, more than at any other time in the state’s history.

P.S. The gentleman in the lower right hand corner is Henry Jones, grandson of Francis Hunt, the first woman in the Arkansas legislature when she was elected in 1922.
