Bicycling Magazine lists Little Rock as the 49th most bike-friendly city in the United States. Quite an honor. Cities are ranked according to a number of factors including segregated bike lanes, municipal bike racks and responsive local government. The magazine notes that “the city center needs work, but neighboring North Little Rock boasts the longest bicycle-pedestrian bridge in the world” – the Big Dam Bridge. Now, if we could just get a safe River Trail route through downtown.
