You could do worse politically than vote against anyone the Little Rock Fraternal Order of Police endorses. Today, that would be Jeremy Hutchinson, a Republican candidate for state Senate. The FOP goes on to diss Hutchinson’ opponent Dan Greenberg for endeavoring as a legislator to provide a little legal protection to criminal defendants against dubious confessions. It’s almost enough to inspire a little sympathy for Greenberg.

Interesting race. Greenberg is spending a significant sum of his own money. Hutchinson is campaigning smartly. Saline County will be a vital battleground for the two Little Rock candidates. The winner will face the winner of the Dawn CreekmoreTodd Witham Democratic primary race.
