BROWNINGS INTERIOR

  • BROWNING’S INTERIOR

Reports of the death of Browning’s, the Tex-Mex institution in the Heights, were not premature, but the death may not be permanent. In one account, the new restaurant would be an upscale Mexican eatery, like Mi Cocina in Highland Park in Dallas. So far, parties haven’t been prepared to talk.

But that rumored investor, Steve Davis, is listed on a Facebook page promising a renewal. Quote:

Browning’s Mexican Grill is a Little Rock Institution (est. 1946). Currently, we are undergoing renovations and exciting additions to augment the rich history of this Heights landmark. Estimated opening in late Oct. News on our progress will be available soon!
