Five of the U.S. attorneys ousted in the Bush administration’s political purge of the Justice Department are scheduled to appear for a panel discussion at noon Monday, Sept. 20, at the UALR Law School. They include Bud Cummins of Little Rock, who was shoved out to make room for Karl Rove protege Tim Griffin, who’d worked on Republican dirty trick squads. He’s now the Republican nominee for 2nd District Congress.
