Dr. G. Daniel Howard, interim chancellor at Arkansas State University, has distributed a letter announcing his resignation from his unpaid position as a member of the board of the American College of Education, which is owned by a corporation, Higher Education Holdings, that provides courses and does other business with ASU campuses. His role had caused some stir recently among faculty members. Howard said he saw no conflict of financial interest, but would resign to remove any perception to the contrary.
Howard’s letter to the faculty is here.
