- SURVIVOR: Passailaigue swarmed by media as he left the building.
Lottery commissioners met behind closed doors for over three hours this afternoon to evaluate the performance of Lottery Director Ernie Passailaigue. When the commission finally came out of executive session, Commission Chair Dianne Lamberth said the commission had taken no action. Afterwards, Lamberth told reporters that the evaluation had been mostly positive. Commissioner Joe White, who has voted to fire Passailaigue in the past, said the commissioners had a serious discussion concerning the director’s performance. Passailaigue only took a few questions from the press as he hurried once again to the building’s elevators to leave.
