Pro-choice Democrats are cooking up a campaign to highlight Republican fixation on abortion.

Though the election was supposedly about jobs and the economy, House Republicans have managed to produce nothing much on that pressing issue but THREE anti-abortion bills. The Republicans want to deny abortion coverage to victims of rape and incest; they’ve proposed in one instance proof of “forcible” rape for coverage (as if there’s any other kind of rape); they want to make it hard to get abortion coverage even under private insurance. Rep. Mike Ross, nominal Democrat who has sided with rapist baby daddies on forcing poor women to carry babies to term, presumably won’t be part of this common-sense movement.

Extremist and ignoring the most important issues, that’s the new Republican House majority (plus Ross.)
