We’ve been talking about doing a podcast for a while, and this afternoon, for no other reason than we had a little free time, we decided to give it a whirl.
This first edition is pretty basic. Just me asking Max about current news and politics: the approval of the capital gains tax cut in the Arkansas House, what its passage means for Beebe, the future of the Arkansas Democratic Party, coming bills in the ledge to look out for and the Supreme Court’s ruling on visitation rights for a same-sex ex and whether or not it suggests how the court might rule on the same-sex adoption case.
It runs almost 20 minutes. We’ll probably look to tighten it up to around 15 minutes in the coming weeks. We’ll also be adding some sort of opening music, broadening our discussion and hopefully making it sound better in future weeks, too.
Because it’s 4:30 p.m. on a Friday, I’m not going to publish on iTunes, but by next week, I’ll have it set up so you can subscribe and have it ready and waiting for your Friday drive home or Saturday morning dog walk.
