The Senate this morning passed the amended version of the House congressional redistricting plan 23-11. If I have things straight it goes to the House for concurrence in the amendment and this carnival is done. UPDATE: The House concurred. Both houses have adjourned until April 27 when, barring discovery of new problems, the legislature will officially conclude this year’s regular session.

BTW: The redistricting is OK by Mike Ross. Tim Griffin, too. The Republican Party threw many of its members who voted for it under the bus, saying the plan could have been better.
