A farmer from Craighead County was featured today on NPR’s “Here and Now.” Joe Christian says he’ll find out in a couple of weeks whether his entire crop is destroyed. He says that right now, about 85 percent of his 2,500 acres are covered in over 4 feet of water. Christian said he had about $250,000 invested in his crop this year and does not have insurance.
