  • TWO RIVERS BRIDGE: Opening nears.

The bikers/walkers/runners are humming about the dedication of the Two Rivers Bridge across the Little Maumelle River. It’s set for 11:30 a.m. Friday. The Transportation secretary, Ray LaHood, is to be in attendance.

Enthusiasts want to turn out a crowd to show support for future bike/hike projects in the area. Note, the bridge won’t officially open that day. As Rock Candy noted Friday, the bridge doesn’t officially open until July 23, but it will be open for a couple of hours Friday.
