Des Moines Register reports here the death of a Little Rock man, Hubert Dane Harris Jr., 54, in the crash in Iowa of a crop-dusting helicopter. Harris was the only person on board when it apparently clipped trees near Wilton, Iowa, and crashed.
Harris is known locally for buying the Town Pump restaurant in Riverdale in 2009 and bringing some changes to the venerable tavern. He was a part of the management family, but also worked in crop dusting, said a spokesman today at the restaurant, which remains open.
