Yeah, it got up to 114 in Little Rock today, but it could always be worse. You could be one of the estimated 10,000 customers without power — and AC — down in Benton tonight, thanks to a substation fire there. Entergy says it’ll be two days before that station is back up and running. KTHV reports.
UPDATE: First Electric in Benton tells KLRT Fox 16 that just over 900 of their customers are also without power because of the fire. The Red Cross has set up a cooling station at Bishop Park in Bryant for those in the sweltering dark and needing relief.
