KING BISCUIT: Music, food and more.

I’m likely to have little to contribute today, because iPhone posting is incredibly laborious. I’m off at 10 a.m. to the King Biscuit Blues Festival. The Arkansas Times has two blues buses of music fans scheduled to depart from the Main Street parking deck this morning. There are a few spare seats. If you show up by 10 a.m. with $99 (actually, best if you come 15 to 20 minutes early), you also might be able to snag one of the remaining seats for Craig’s barbecue and homemade pie in DeValls Bluff, on-board musical entertainment, admission and a chauffeured coach ride home.

Eddie Floyd and the Stax Review, one of tonight’s top acts, stirred me out of my usual weekend torpor.
