Lt. Carl Minden of the Pulaski sheriff’s office said Antwon Williams, 29, of Little Rock was found hanged by a sheet from bars on his cell window about 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the county detention facility. Efforts to resuscitate him failed. He was discovered by a deputy delivering food trays. Williams was arrested in February as a suspect in robbery of a Burger King but was also being held for a State Hospital psychiatric evaluation, Minden said. He said Williams had not been placed on a suicide watch, but was in a unit where cells are checked hourly.
