The morning Little Rock police roundup includes a motorcyclist critically injured in a wreck Sunday afternoon on Rodney Parham Road.
* MOTORCYCLE WRECK: Police say a pickup driven by Jane Welch, 83, turned into the path of a motorcycle driven by Richard Williams, 56. Welch, who was eastbound on Rodney Parham Road, told police she was stopped in a lefthand turn lane to turn onto Satterfield when the motorcycle hit her, but a passenger on the motorcycle, Tina Budde, 55, said the pickup turned into the path of the oncoming Harley Davidson, which was unable to avoid a collision. Charges are pending as an accident reconstruction team studies the incident. Police said Budde suffered a shoulder fracture and broken leg and was in stable condition. Williams suffered multiple bone fractures in his legs, arms, and face and had internal bleeding including an aortic tear. He was listed in extremely critical condition.
* BURGER KING ROBBERY: Two masked gunmen wearing guns forced two employees into the Burger King at 14919 Cantrell Road about 4:50 a.m. this morning, but suddenly ran out without taking anything. One of the gunmen was wearing a Bluetooth device.
* KNIFE WOUND: Kamal Ellis, 31, was stabbed in the neck with a large hunting knife in an altercation with his brother while visiting a friend Sunday afternoon on Bob White Drive. Police were called after Ellis was taken to the St. Vincent emergency room. His brother, Garai McCree, 24, was arrested while walking nearby and charged with battery. Ellis was critical condition.
