Mike and Janet Huckabee have a grandchild on the way, according to a mention of daughter Sarah Sanders’ pregnancy (three months) in this interview with Forbes magazine.
It’s quite a spread for Sanders, interviewed about a perceived rise in a political power base of women executives (Democrats are still the clear preference of women according to poll, article notes) and about her job with a Florida public affairs company working on Bono and Bill Gates’ The One campaign, a bipartisan effort to fight child poverty and disease, particularly in Africa. She exhibits her father’s occasional dash of political pragmatism in discussing the polarized state of politics.
I’m a huge conservative, but I’m not mad about it. I want somebody who feels that way, who’s not going to come out and say, ‘Anytime a Democrat opens their mouth it’s clearly the dumbest idea that’s ever been uttered.’
