Arkansas Nuclear One concrete producer Precision Surveillance Corp., a Chicago-based company, plans to hire 25 people to work in a 40,000-square-foot spec building at Russellville’s East End Industrial Park, its president announced today.
The Arkansas Economic Development Commission kicked in a grant of $175,000 toward infrastructure — parking, drainage and fencing. I have a call in to the mayor of Russellville to find out what incentives that city offered the business. In return, company president Paul Smith says it plans to invest $1.5 million in the area.
Update: Mayor Bill Eaton of Russellville said up to $100,000 from the city’s economic development fund has been approved to finish out and add on to the building for PSC.
