A unified party strategy emerges as the day of reckoning nears — Republicans must pretend they want to preserve Obamacare in at least partial fashion or end these hugely popular benefits. Republicans will craft a message that all of the pleasure can be retained without any of the pain of paying for it. Right. Like trickle-down — cutting taxes will cut federal deficits.
