Going to be some unintended consequences and some tail-chasing, that’s for sure. But in-your-pajamas accessibility is a good thing. I think some of those beating their chests the most about it, though, haven’t given a lot of thought to the sheer volume of individual entries on a multi-billion-dollar enterprise. Drilling down to specific cases won’t be easier because the information is on-line. It might even be more difficult than bound volumes of agency budgets. Think the difference between reading a newspaper on-line and in print.
